Dear Parents and Guardians,
We hope that this email finds you doing well. Please be reminded that virtual parent-teacher conferences are scheduled for November 11th (from 8:30 am - 12:00 pm, and from 1:30 pm - 2:45 pm), and also on November 12th (from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm).
Like much of this school year, parent-teacher conferences look and feel a little different. We know that your communication with teachers and staff is important, and we are hoping that you will join us on these days.
Teachers will be reaching out to you next week with more information about their respective conferences via email. Staff will be utilizing TEAMs to conduct the conferences.
Parents/guardians can schedule appointments on November 2nd, 3rd and 4th, from 9 am - 3 pm, with the following administrative assistants through phone call or email:
9th Grade: Ms. Bibi (bisahak@epsd.org; X. 6037)
10th Grade: Ms. Lopez (nsecretary2@epsd.org; X. 6039)
11th Grade: Ms. Kenia (asecretary@epsd.org; X. 6047)
12th Grade and Spanish-Speaking Parents/Guardians: Ms. Torres (ssecretary1@epsd.org; X. 6037)/Ms. Klose (mklose@epsd.org; X. 6235)
Conferences will operate on a "1st come, 1st serve" basis and will be 10-minutes/conference. When logging into the staff's conference online, please use the email address that you have registered in Genesis. Any parent/guardian who does not schedule their conference ahead of time will be placed in the staff's TEAMs waiting room until the staff is available to meet.
The administrative assistants will be checking their emails and voicemails regularly to make sure that they assist you with making appointments.

The DMHS Band continues it Virtual VIPs Series during remote instruction. Guest are confirmed through November and beyond. Guests include Emmy, Grammy, and Oscar award winners and nominees. Additionally, the band has college band directors lined up to present about their band program and college to our students during the college recruiting season.
PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCES (PTC): As a reminder, Virtual PTC are on 11/11 and 11/12. More information on how to sign-up for teacher conferences will be posted here and sent out, as we have done with previous text reminders/informational emails. Thanks!
