Today, DMHS hosted a Financial Literacy Mini Workshop in the Cyber Café in partnership with NVE Bank, A Division of Ion Bank, and N The Meantime. The session provided students with practical, real-world learning experiences focused on financial responsibility and future readiness.

Students had the opportunity to participate during their lunch periods, demonstrating strong interest in expanding their understanding of financial literacy. The workshop introduced the role of community-focused banking and explored key topics such as building credit, managing personal finances, and planning for long-term financial success. Throughout the session, students were highly engaged and asked thoughtful questions — including how to establish credit and manage finances while operating small businesses — highlighting both entrepreneurial spirit and forward-thinking mindsets.

We extend our sincere appreciation to our community partners, NVE Bank, A Division of Ion Bank, and N The Meantime, for supporting this meaningful opportunity, as well as to the DMHS team for helping facilitate a successful experience for students.

We look forward to continuing this partnership and are excited to offer additional sessions on March 4 and March 18 for DMHS and A@E students. We hope to see even more students take advantage of these valuable learning opportunities.
