Today was a beautiful day for a field trip as Superintendent Dr. Hazelton brought members of the Dwight Morrow High School and Janis Dismus Middle School Student Advisory Councils on a memorable voyage aboard the Circle Line!
This experience wasn’t just about sightseeing—it was about celebrating student leadership, building connections, and expanding horizons beyond the classroom. From sailing past iconic NYC landmarks to engaging in meaningful conversations, our students had the chance to reflect on their roles as changemakers within our district.
Dr. Hazelton’s commitment to amplifying student voice and creating opportunities for real-world learning was at the heart of this special day. As our Student Advisory Council members continue to shape the future of Englewood Public Schools, this outing served as a reminder that leadership starts with listening, learning, and lifting each other up.
