DMHS Alumni Inspire the Next Generation During Alumni Career Day

On April 30, 2025, Dwight Morrow High School welcomed back over 30 distinguished alumni for a powerful Alumni Career Day experience hosted in the Common Area. These former Maroon Raiders, now thriving in careers ranging from law enforcement and medicine to technology, design, and entrepreneurship, returned to share their journeys, spark inspiration, and empower current students with real-world wisdom and advice.

Superintendent, Dr. Marnie Hazelton, personally thanked the alumni for “coming back home” and presented her Superintendent’s Challenge Coin to individuals—a symbol of appreciation for their commitment to giving back and investing in our future leaders.

Students engaged in meaningful conversations with professionals like:

  • Dr. Zachary Coles, a physician in emergency medicine,

  • Korka Fall, a chemical engineer,

  • Briana Diaz and Sundus Qureshi, both financial analysts,

  • Isaiah Miller, an Army servicemember and entrepreneur,
...and many more dynamic voices who showcased the diversity of paths available after high school.

The event was made possible through the dedicated efforts of the DMAE Alumni Network, which continues to create opportunities for mentorship, career exposure, and student empowerment. High schoolers were encouraged to join the network for access to webinars, internships, scholarships, and one-on-one guidance.

To all our alumni: thank you for reminding students that greatness starts here.
